Saint Francis County

County History and Geography

In the Delta Region of eastern Arkansas, Saint Francis County was formed in 1827 from Phillips County. Its county seat, Forrest City, is on I-40, about 90 miles east of Little Rock. Saint Francis is bordered by the counties of Cross, Crittenden, Lee, Monroe and Woodruff.
