An unsigned map of Demerara (in Guyana) dated 1786 has an entry for property owned by A. Culpeper on both the East and West banks of the Demerara River. The map is at the University of Amsterdam Map Room, in the "Collectie Vaandrager", call number VI.5.9,2.

Most likely, this was one of the Alleyne Culpepers of Barbados.
