History

In the Blue Grass Region of north central Kentucky, Scott County was formed in 1792 from Woodford County. Its county seat, Georgetown, is on I-75 about 10 miles north of Lexington. Scott is bordered by the counties of Grant, Harrison, Bourbon, Fayette, Woodford, Franklin and Owen.

Culpepper Court, Georgetown, Scott Co., KY
Note: Harrison, Montgomery and Scott counties, all in the vicinity of Lexington, have a road or street named Culpepper but otherwise seem to have had no Culpeppers living there. Perhaps there is a developer in Lexington who was a Culpepper or who liked the Culpepper name.
