Obituary of Stella
Elizabeth Culpepper, Published 9 Aug 2005 in the Lynchburg
News & Advance
Ms. Stella Elizabeth Culpepper departed this life on Sunday, Aug. 7,
2005, in Petersburg.
She was born in Appomattox May 23, 1932. She was preceded in death by
her parents, Mrs. Carsie C. Lamberth and James Albert Lamberth Sr., and
her husband, Robert Culpepper and
Sister, Carrie Lamberth. She was a member of Mt. Obed Baptist Church in
Concord.
She leaves to cherish her; memory three brothers, William Lamberth
(Sandra) and James Lamberth Jr., both of Amherst, and Robert Lamberth of
Lynchburg; one sister, Ms. Mollie Hubbard of Amherst; one devoted niece,
Mrs. Stella Sparrow and her husband, Tosey of Amherst; and a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at
Community Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Busie eulogist.
Interment will be in Mt. Obed Baptist Church cemetery. The family will
receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at
Community Funeral Home. The family will assemble at the Funeral home at
