Richard
Allan "Rick" Culpepper and Nancy Kosinski were married
17 June 1950 in San Antonio, TX. Their three children, Ben Allan,
Jess Bryan, and Terri Ann, and their families hosted a celebration
of the Golden Anniversary last June in Hondo, TX, with many
relatives and friends - sit-down dinner, live music and dancing. The
picture of Rick and Nancy dancing was taken at this event.

Doyle Winston Culpepper and Katie Lou Golden, natives of Santa Rosa
Co., FL, eloped and were married 15 Nov 1952 in Lucedale, MS. Katie is
the retired owner/agent of Culpepper Insurance Agency in Milton, FL.
Winston, retired from Santa Rosa State Bank, is the son of Elijah Clark

Ruby Sue Culpepper and
David Lee Marshall are
celebrating their 50th Anniversary on 10 Jul 2005 in Fort Worth, Texas
at their church, St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian. Ruby Sue, a
housewife, is the daughter of Luther Littleton Culpepper and
granddaughter of Charley H. Culpepper. David retired from Bell
Helicopter with 38 years. They have been blessed with 2 children:
David & Terri Gail, three grandchildren, and three

The Incredibly long-lived and long-married children of John Asbury and Fairy
Culpepper
John Asbury and Fairy Culpepper had eight children who each celebrated their
Golden Anniversaries, two others were each married for 49 years, and
one was married for 36 years. Their only other child died unmarried
in an accident in her youth. None of their dozen children divorced, and all the marriages are
either still intact or have ended in death. They also have two
grandchildren who have celebrated their Golden Anniversaries.
Collectively, these couples have been married for over 725
years! This amazingly committed and long-lived
group of descendants are listed below.

Fay
'Zoe' Culpepper and Rev. Joseph Troy Emanuel
were married in Weatherford, Texas on 6 Jan 1934, and at the time of
Joe's death in Dec 2000, they had been married 66 years. They served
14 different churches in the New Mexico Conference of the United
Methodist Church. Zoe and Joe had one son, Joseph Troy,
Jr., a Bradley University
professor married to Barbara Kott Emanuel,
and three
grandchildren (Karen Emanuel Miller, Brian, and Roger.) Rev.
Joe and Zoe spent their lives in Christian ministry and truly
epitomized what "walking with Christ" means.

Cletis Culpepper, born 3 Feb 1915, died unmarried at
the age of 16 in a school bus accident. She is the only sibling
to have not had a marriage of at least 36 years!

"My dad was a twin and his brother James Emanuel and wife Odessa
have been married a couple of years longer than my parents."

where the wife has a Culpepper maiden name, and who have
been married to each other for at least 50 years..
