     A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 4, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with Jon Schwiethale and Dr. Ed Headrick officiating. Burial will follow in Dudley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Greg Downing, Curtis Smith, Craig Smith, Chad Smith, Tommy Smith, and Frank Chrane.
     Miss Callie was born September 6, 1908, in Roscoe, Texas. She married Henry B. Culpepper on January 8, 1927. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1972. She worked at Denton Valley Schools, and for fifteen years at Eula Schools as head lunchroom cook. She resided in Dudley, Texas for 80 years, and attended Highway 36 Church of Christ, where she was a member of Ladies' Bible Class.
     Miss Callie is survived by one son, H.B. 'Bill' Culpepper and wife, Nancy, of Dudley; one daughter, Nelda Downing and husband, Johnny, of Eula; six grandchildren, Dianna Fain of Irving, Karen Henley and husband, Bob, of Eula, Debbie Smith and husband, Curtis, of Eula, Greg Downing and wife, Ann, of Memphis, Tennessee, James Culpepper and wife, Julie, of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Tammy Stoneham of Abilene; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Miss Callie was preceded in death by one son, Jim Culpepper (d,1990); her parents; a sister, Mary Louise Minchew; and two brothers, Leslie Marvin Baggett and Warren W. Baggett.
