| Biography* | | Joseph Woodrow Culpepper, 76, of the 4600 block of W. High Street died May 16, 1994, in his home. He was a native of Portsmouth and was a retired sales representative for Virginia Beverage Co. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Virginia N. Culpepper; two sisters, Ethel Culpepper Davis of New Castle, Del., and Mary Culpepper Edens of Toccoca, Ga; and several nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Donald H. Seely and the Rev. Clara P. Gestwick. Loving Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church.2 |
