DNA* From DNA and genealogical evidence we conclude that Stephen Josephius Culpepper is a son of Lemuel Culpepper of Jasper Co., GA. DNA suggests that Lemuel descends (father unknown) from Benjamin Culpepper of Edgecombe Co., NC.
