Obituary*4 Mar 2006 SHANNON - Mary Collins, 87, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the Richardson Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born Dec. 14, 1918, in Algoma to Jim and Beulah Culpepper. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Shannon. An accomplished seamstress, she enjoyed quilting, babysitting her grandchildren, and meeting with her Brewer senior citizens group. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include four sons, Larry Collins and wife, Barbara, of Horn Lake, Jimmy Collins and wife, Sherry, of Troy, Bobby Collins and wife, Carrie Nell, of Florence, Ala., and Charlie Collins of Shannon; two daughters, Martha Crawford and husband, Steve, of Waynesboro, Ga., and Joyce Harper and husband, Woody, of Fulton; two sisters, Ruby Gregory of Smithville and Elsie Gregory of Pontotoc; two brothers, Bill Culpepper of Hatley and Bob Culpepper of Okolona; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Collins; an infant son; two brothers, James Culpepper and Milton Culpepper; a sister, Earline Russell; and three grandsons. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today.1 
Burial*4 Mar 2006 Her body was interred on 4 Mar 2006 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Lee Co., Mississippi.1
