Chambers to Willie Lowe. (2 children - Ila Gertrude and Pearl Mae) Their father was said to have 'run off' According to the 1900 census Maggie had actually given birth 5 times - but only 4 children were living in 1900. At that time they were living with James N. B. Hunt - Maggie listed as neice. Later James is in Lonnie's household shown as father-in-law. J.N.B. Hunt was a witness at the marriage to Willie Lowe in Claiborne Parish.1 |
