Obituary*4 Apr 2007 A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2007, in Evangel Baptist Church in Portland for James R. Culpepper, who died April 1 at age 80. Mr. Culpepper was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Atlanta. He served in the Army for 22 years, including in Korea and Vietnam. In 1969, he moved to Portland, where he was a claims investigator, both self-employed and for Wausau Insurance. In 1958, he married Louise A. Sindt. Survivors include his wife; son, Robert E; daughter, Jean L. Buttke; sister, Wilma Hardley; and brother, Fred. Remembrances to the Oregon Humane Society. Arrangements by Rose City.3 
Burial*Apr 2007 He had no grave site; his body was given to science.2
