Biography* Doris Josephine was the daughter of Robert Earl and Ruth (Johnson) Culpepper. She was born and raised in Texas and, in 1937, she married Alvis Cleo Webb. Jo was noted for her cheese dip, Mexican food, and many desserts as well as for her pets which included dogs, cats, foxes, hamsters, parakeets, and an owl.1

Jo attended church every Wednesday and Sunday and for many years was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church but she later joined the Shady Oaks Baptist Church.2 Jo died in 1991 at the age of 75 leaving behind her husband of 54 years.
