Sheridan man dies in one-car accident

A Sheridan man was killed Sunday afternoon in a car wreck on U.S. 35 in Grant County, Arkansas State Police said.

Chris Capos Culpepper, 29, driving a 2001 Pontiac south on the highway about 2:50 p.m. when it left the road, went into a ditch and ran back onto the road before striking a tree, police said.

Culpepper was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

SHERIDAN - Christopher Capos Culpepper, 29, of Sheridan, died Sunday. Survivors, daughter, Hannah Culpepper; parents, Barry and Sandra Culpepper; sister, Courtney Culpepper Caldwell; grandmothers, Irene Culpepper, Wanda Christine Smith.
