 He was the son of Howard Finley Hunt and Lydia Adeline Daughterty. 
Marriage*1 Aug 1886 He married Martha Jane Marshall at Travis Co., Texas, on 1 Aug 1886. 
Residence*1890 David resided at Austin, Travis Co., Texas, in 1890. 
Marriage*14 May 1902 He married Mary Ellen Hale on 14 May 1902. 
Death*20 Nov 1950 He died at Choate, Karnes Co., Texas, on 20 Nov 1950.

I have quite a bit of info on the Marshalls back to Isaac Marshall ca 1760/61 VA Rev. War Soldier. The Marshall came from Monroe Co.,
TN in 1881 to Travis Co., TX. Later coming from Monroe Co., TN came the Hunt brothers David B. Hunt and William Thomas Hunt, both marrying sisters and daughters of Richard S. Marshall, my 2nd GGF. They married in Travis Co., TX. Richard Marshall and the Hunts and all the families bought land from what had been the
Choate Ranch, and relocated in Karnes Co., TX. Richard Marshall and family relocated about 1891/92 to the community of Couch, TX. He, his wife (Sarah Caroline Blanton) their two daus and the Hunt brothers, as well as many more are all buried in the Choate Cemetery. I was there in March of this year and photographed many of the tombstones. My father died March of 2000, and we buried
him in the Runge, Karnes Co., TX Cemetery where his parents, grandfather, many aunts, uncles and cousins are buried. My Grandmother was Dorothy Lee Marshall, Grandaughter of Richard & Sarah Marshall. My Grandfather was Wm. R. Knight. He and Dolly, as she was called had four children, my father being the youngest.
