Biography* According to p. 231 of First Families of Henry County, Georgia compiled by The Genealogical Society of Henry and Clayton Co., GA and edited by Joseph Henry Hightower Moore and published in 1993, "Susan Elmira Stallings Elliott" was named as a daughter in the will of James Stallings. However, Monroe County, Georgia: A History published in 1979 by the Monroe County Historical Society, Inc., lists the name as "Elmyra I. Elliott" in an abstract of the will in Appendix A-1.
