Obituary. Fort Worth -- Pauline LaJean Bridges, 80, nurse, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, at a local hospital. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bridgewood Church of Christ of Fort Worth. Burieal: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Memorials: Scottish Rite Hospital. Pauline Bridges was born Jan. 14, 1920, in Celina. She was a charter member of Bridgewood Church of Christ (1969) and attended Heritage Hall Day Care for eight years. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Pam Culpepper in 1988; parents, William Clyde and Jewell Inez Simms; husband, John Earl Bridges in 1980; and son, Larry Culpepper in 1976. Survivors: Siblings, Joe Simms of Burleson, Ray Simms of Fort Worth, Dr. Laura Simms of Kent, Ct; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Patty Culpepper of Kent, Ct., Mike and Deanna Culpepper of Fort Worth; daughter, Linda Tomaso of Fryeburg, Maine; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
