Biography* According to Lester's obituary, he was a veteran of WW-I and was retired from Vick's Delicatessen. Note, however, that he registered for the WW-I draft on 12 Sep 1918, only 60 days before the armistice of 11 Nov 1918, so while he may have entered the service in 1918, it is quite unlikely that he actually served in the war.
