Death*16 Feb 1973 He died at Tallahassee, Leon Co., Florida, on 16 Feb 1973. The Georgia Death Index says that James was residing in Paulding Co. (north GA) but died in Thomas County (far south GA, near Tallahassee). The SSDI says that James died in Tallahassee. As Tallahassee is the nearest medical center to Thomas County, it is likely that he was living in Thomas County, but died in a hospital in Tallahassee. The Paulding County rersidence may have been a coding error. Or, some family member resided in either Pauding or Thomas County and James normally resided in the other county.2,6
