      In the 1850 census, Nancy Caroline was listed as "Caroline." in the 1870 and 1880 census records she was listed as "Nancy" or "Nancy C." She was listed as "Nancy C. Cooper" on her tombstone. She was probably named Nancy after her grandmother, Nancy Culpepper, and she might have been named Caroline for her place of birth. She was noted as a female 0-10 years of age with her parents in the 1820 census of Edgefield District, SC. In "ONE FAMILY - CULPEPPER" written 8 Oct 1942 by Rev. George Bright Culpepper, he noted that "Caroline" was five years old when her father died and that "she married a man named Cooper, who moved to Colquitt County, Georgia about the year 1857." In the 1830 census of Monroe Co., GA, although Nancy Caroline was not yet married, she was not listed in the household of her widowed mother, Mary. Perhaps she was overlooked by the census taker or perhaps she was visiting relatives at the time of the census. By 1850 census, Nancy Caroline's mother was recorded living with her now married daughter in the household of David G. Cooper in Talbot Co., GA census records. The Cooper family apparently moved on to Colquitt Co., GA and was noted there in census records in 1870 and 1880.

Reunion*8 Jul 2006 The families of David George Cooper, Jr. held their reunion in Moultrie, GA at the Western Sizzler on Saturday, 9 July 2005. Visiting and renewing friendship began with a prayer followed by dinner and continued discussions of past activities and new business, electing Shirley Harrell as Secretary, Janice Tucker as Treasurer, and William C.
