Biography*  John William Culpepper, a George Washington Culpepper descendent, wrote in a 25 Apr 1995 letter: On 20 April Eleanor [(Culpepper) Willingham] and I went to Haralson and spoke to Mr. Bruce Williams, owner of Williams Grocery store and gasoline station and he advised that the land indicated in the Assessors map is the land that was owned by Sidney D. Culpepper, the last Culpepper to own the land. The land was bought by Otto Hutchison from "Dorsy" Culpepper before he died. Mr. Williams said he has farmed the land and knows it well. He took me in his pickup truck to the property and identified it including the Winky Branch which runs through the property.
      Mrs. Ann Garner, Aunt of Mr. Bruce William, advised that her father has farmed the property also and she has been all over it and is not aware of any burial sites on the property.
