Uncle Boyd had the tombstone placed at their graves several years after their death and gave the date of death incorrectly. It should have been 1890. I have often been told Mother, Edna Gray Dempsey, was five days old when her mother died. Mother's date of birth in the Bible is Dec. 19, 1890. |
