George Bright Culpepper, who noted: In 1853 there was born to James Marion Culpepper and his wife, Lucinda, called by her friends Lucy, a daughter. To her was given the name Mary Rebecca, for her two grandmothers. This was nearly 15 years before my birth. She lived only about three years. She is buried in old Carsonville Cemetery in Talbot County, Georgia. |
