Death*circa 1920 He died at Covington Co., Mississippi, circa 1920. Matthew was thought to have died prior to the 1920 census (taken in January) since his wife was enumerated as a widow. Howver, their divorce was not officially recognized by the court until several months later, so he may not have been dead at the time of the census..8
