Biography* Obituary:
     Mrs. Carolyn Brooks Culpepper died 8:52 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 1991, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. She was 84, a native of Ideal, Ga., and resident of Clinton. Visiting at Clinton Methodist Church, 1:30 p.m. to religious services at 3 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Rod Kennedy and the Rev. John Casey. Burial in Clear Creek Methodist Church Cemetery. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Rebecca and A.O. "Dick" Freeman, Clinton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Raleigh Stuart and Mildred Boeneke Culpepper, Clinton, and George Virgil and Paulette Cardillo Culpepper, Fort Worth, Texas; seven grandchildren, Arlene Culpepper, Lafayette, David and Robert Culpepper, both of Clinton, Christopher and Katherine Culpepper, both of Fort Worth, Texas, Thomas Fiorelli, Chicago, Ill., and Amy Fiorelli, Lafayette. Preceded in death by husband, the Rev. Virgil M. Culpepper; parents, George and Antoinette Greene Brooks; four brothers, Morrisson, William Pierce, Richard Clinton and the Rev. Henri S. Brooks; and a sister, Alibel Brooks. Pallbearers will be Louis Durham, Frank Vogeritz, Leon Aucoin, Luke Darbonne, and Chappell and George Brooks. She was a member of Clinton Methodist Church. Family requests memorial donations be made to Clinton Methodist Church or Clear Creek Methodist Church. Charlet Funeral Home, Clinton, in charge of arrangements.4
