Biography* James Lane Culpepper in a letter received 7 Feb 1998 appears to record the name as "Alma Maine Edwards." But because the middle name was not clear, only the initial is being used. The following death notice appeared in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution on Sunday, 6 Jan 1991: CULPEPPER Mrs. Alma E Culpepper of Roswell died January 4, 1991. Survived by four sons, Emmet Culpepper, III, Decatur, James Culpepper, Baton Rouge, La. M.M. (Mac) Culpepper, Houston, Tex; Charles Culpepper, Roswell, brother Dr. James M. Edwards, Conyers, four grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 7, 1991 at 3:30 at Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lone Oak, Georgia. Rev. Al Larson officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd.
