Biography* Charles Capers Culpepper, Jr. was the son of Charles Capers and Daisy Darling (Tucker) Culpepper. He was born and raised in Chambers Co., AL. He was 19 years old when his father died and he worked for the post office in Montgomery, AL until World War II. He volunteered for service and was sent to North Africa.2 After the war, he married Eunice Johnson. He died in 1963 at the age of 56.
