| Biography* | Obituary: CORDELE - Edith Culpepper Wiley, 91, a native of Crisp County, died Friday, May 20, 2005 at Cordele Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, May 22, 2005 in the chapel of Hughes and Wright Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. -A retired teacher and owner of Kiddie Korral, Mrs. Wiley was a member of the Cordele First Baptist Church and the Trinity Sunday School Class. -Mrs. Wiley, the widow of Marvin Lee Wiley, Sr., was the daughter of the late Samuel Jackson Culpepper and the late Leona Raines Culpepper. She is preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth Culpepper, Perry Culpepper, Olin Culpepper and Leon Culpepper. -Mrs. Wiley is survived by three sons, Lee (Sandra) Wiley of Pinehurst; Dan (Gini) Wiley of Palm Harbor, Florida and Joel Wiley of Moultrie; a sister, Gladine Fulghum of Abbeville; five grandchildren, Wayne (Gina) Wiley of Hawkinsville, LeSan W. (Del) Kimbrough of Pinehurst, Chris Wiley of California, Dani Wiley and Terry Wiley, both of Palm Harbor, Florida; and four great-grandchildren, Kallie Kimbrough, Carson Wiley, Wiley Kimbrough and Gracen Wiley.2 |
