RISON-- Jeannette Culpepper Creed, 80, of Rison, died November 5, 1997, at her home. She was born at Poole (Cleveland County) on August 1, 1917, a daughter of the late Carroll D. Culpepper and Nova Ray Culpepper.
     She was a retired postal clerk at the Rison Post Office and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Rison Garden Club and the Rison United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the church choir and the United Methodist Women.
     Survivors include her husband, J.H. Creed; two daughters, Ginger Crowder of Hughes (St. Francis County) and Martha Gardial of Hot Springs; a sister, Margie Bethea of Pine Bluff; and three grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Rison United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Rison by Buie Funeral Home of Rison..2
