Toll in Automobile Wreck Rises to Two.

Double funeral services were held yesterday for Ennis Culpepper, thirty-one, and Lonzo Smith, thirty-three, both of Abbeville route one, who were killed in an automobile accident late Saturday night.

Mr. Smith was instantly killed when a blow-out caused the automobile in which he was riding to strike a guard rail and overturn, Mr. Culpepper died in a Eufaula hospital Sunday.

The services were held at Union Church at 3 pm, with the Rev. W S Driggers officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, Abbeville Funeral Home directing.

Surviving Mr. Culpepper are his wife, Mrs. Edna Ruth Culpepper; a son, Charles Culpepper; two daughters, Robbie Culpepper and Carol Culpepper, all of Abbeville route one; and a brother, J P Culpepper, Eufaula; two sisters, Miss Minnie Lee Culpepper and Mrs. Bob Starling, both of Abbeville; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John L Culpepper, Abbeville.

Surviving Mr. Smith, are his wife, Mrs. Helen Smith; two daughters, Louise Smith and Clara Nell Smith; three brothers, Houston Smith, Shelby Smith and Edward Smith and a sister, Mrs. Susie Mae Kirkland, all of Abbeville.4
