Obituary*24 Jul 1995 Charles B. Culpepper Sr., 72, of 6032 Brookstone Boulevard, Columbus, died (of a brain tumor) Sunday, 23 Jul 1995 at his home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, with burial in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Culpepper was born 12 Jul 1923, in Columbus, son of Daisy Smith Culpepper and Charles B. Culpepper Sr. A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he retired as owner and operator of the Columbus Equipment Co., 1101 Sixth Ave., which he began in 1951, and was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. He was a member of Mount Hermon Masonic Lodge Post 304 F&AM. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Charles B. Culpepper Jr. of Columbus; a daughter, Diane C. Kingston of Marietta, Ga; two brothers, Shelby Culpepper of Columbus and Robert Culpepper of St. Petersburg, Fla; and two grandchildren."5 
Burial*25 Jul 1995 His body was interred on 25 Jul 1995 at Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Muscogee Co., Georgia.5
