LAKE JACKSON — Services for James Coleman “J.C.” Culpepper, 87, of Lake Jackson are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne. Burial will be in the Walnut Cemetery in Bremond. Howard Vann will officiate. Mr. Culpepper died Monday at Brazosport Memorial Hospital. He was born in Bremond. Survivors include a daughter, Jo Zell Miles of Lake Jackson; a brother, Marshall Culpepper of San Antonio; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
