 He was the son of Moses Armstrong and Elizabeth (?).

1860 Census* Martin was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census at Henry Co., Alabama.2 
Burial* His body was interred at Old Union Cemetery, Henry Co., Alabama. Unmarked grave. 
Death*after 1900 He died at Henry Co., Alabama, after 1900. 
Biography* Martin, a Primitive Baptist minister, was the son of Moses and Elizabeth Armstrong from SC. I believe that the Armstrongs were from Edgefield Dist. of SC but have no proof. The Armstrongs and Kirklands intermarried before leaving SC. They brought sons & daus. with grown children to Henry Co., Al. Martin was a farmer and Primitive Baptist preacher.
