Jesse Williams was the great grandson of John WilliamS. They moved to On slow County, N. C. , and had children: 1. Sarah; 2. Hester, b. about 1753, m. before 1778 to Daniel Humphrey, b. 1750, d. 1804; 3. Lot; 4. Hannah; 5. Senea; 6. Polly, 7. Jesse; and 8. Uz. Lot, Hannah, Jesse and Uz were all minors in 1780, and Senea and Polly were born after 1773 and before 1778. The probability that Ann Whitehead m. Jesse Williams is supported by the fact that her daughter Hester (Williams) Humphrey named one of her sons Whitehead Humphrey.
