Born in Como, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Olie Majette Bailey and Annie Mae Cutchins Bailey and the widow of Robert C. Holland, Jr. and Dennis Leroy Culpepper. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Robert C. Holland, III, and his wife, Ann, of Portsmouth, a sister, Doris Bryant and her husband, John, of Franklin; her stepmother, Lessie Hatfield Bailey of Como, N.C., etc. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park.
