Biography* Obituary:
     The Rev. Samuel Craig Culpepper, 50, died Wednesday, July 21, 1999. A native of Tifton, Mr. Culpepper was the son of Samuel H. and Betty McSwain Culpepper of Smyrna. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church, Columbus, and had served as the pastor of Waverly Hall Baptist Church for 11 years. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Morningside Baptist Church, with the Revs. Frank Wilkerson and Ed Helton officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Gray Hill Cemetery, Commerce. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Leslie Perry Culpepper; a daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Culpepper, Ellerslie; a son, Matthew Harold Culpepper, Ellerslie; two sisters, Helen K. Wilkerson, Social Circle, and Jamie Ann Perry, Mableton; a niece and three nephews. Memorials may be made to Gideons International.
