| Biography* | Vinchey Parzada Ryalls who married Daniel Culpepper in Selma, Dallas County, AL on 25 July 1899. Her name was Virgie or Virtue Parzada Dillard, (she was called Virgie), and she had a sister named Highly Christian Dillard. After her father was buried in Savannah, GA, she was brought to Selma, Dallas County, AL as a young girl by her mother. She married Richard Wright Ryalls sometime around 1885, and had six children by him. All of those children were born in Dale County, AL. When the eldest was but 8 years old, Richard Ryalls died, and Virgie Dillard Ryalls placed her six children in the Methodist Children's Home in Selma, Dallas County, AL.(I presume she returned to her mother's residence.) The children were actually taken there by her sister Highly Christian Dillard, who signed their admission papers. Virgie Dillard Ryalls reclaimed her children 9 months later in 1896; unfortunately one died before her return. She married Daniel Culpepper in 1899, and her children were at that time between the ages of 5 and 14. Addie Parzada Ryalls, her second eldest daughter was 12.
