Death*20 Sep 1934 He died on 20 Sep 1934. J. L. Culpepper of Fordyce Found Dead in Bed -- Fordyce, September 20, 1934 -- J. L. Culpepper, age 66, well known resident here was found dead in his bed this morning. He was formerly a merchant here, but recently had been a drought relief invesigator for the Emergency Relief Administration. He worked yesterday and was in fine spirits. Early today, Mrs. Culpepper attempted to awaken him and found him dead. He is survived by his wife and three sons: Gaston of Little Rock, Robert and Lee of San Francisco. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church here at 3 p.m. Friday in the charge of the Reverends J. E. Cooper and J. M. Workman.
