1 May 1827 -- Deed Bk 53, p 260. John Richardson to Joseph Culpepper for $640, land in Portsmouth on Middle Street, which belonged to Willis Culpepper, deceased. This is per an order to sell land from the County Court sitting in Chancery, a suit of Edward N. Grant and wife Abby as plaintiffs and John Talbot and wife Fanny as defendants.
