| Biography* | | Thomasine Edna Culpepper Minter, daughter of Otto Culpepper, RFN 1272: Thomasine Edna Minter, 64, of the 100 block of Mimosa Road, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1993, in a Portsmouth hospital. Mrs. Minter was born in Portsmouth. She was the daughter of the late Otto Culpepper and Bessie Overton Culpepper and was the widow of Alred V. Minter. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Pam Tabor of Greenville, S.C. and Cherie Vecchio of Norfolk; two sons, T.R. Minter and Larry Minter, both of Portsmouth; six sisters, Emma Grimes, Mildred Suttle, Louise Atkins and Vivian Campbell, all of Portsmouth and Helen Varsal of Colorado and Ada Brown of California; two brothers, James Culpepper of Portsmouth and Robert Culpepper of Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Pinecrest Baptist Church by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
