Research note It is not proven that Miles Culpeper is the son of George and Jane Culpepper. It is assumed that he probably is based upon the 1910 census in which the birthdates shown for the parents of Miles (father-NC and Mother-VA) were identical to those of George and Jane. Also, George and Jane are the right age, and George and his three wives were the only other Culpepper family in DC during 1870-1920. If you can confirm the ancestry of Miles, please let us know.5
