Biography Obituary:
Mary Belle Culpepper Heinlen passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, after more than a decade-long battle with Alzheimer's disease. It was the "long good-bye" and she is finally at peace and reunited with her family. Mary Belle was greatly loved by all, and she will be sadly missed. Mary Belle was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lt. Col. Clayton H. Heinlen, U.S. Air Force, retired; her four sisters, Mrs. Eugene R. (Virginia) Cazedessus, Jane Arthur Culpepper, Mrs. John E. (Betty) Dougherty and Mrs. Sylvester (Nancy) Breard; and her parents, Arthur Manly Culpepper and Maud Erin Wasson Culpepper. Mary Belle and her four sisters were affectionately known as "The Five Little Peppers." She is survived by her three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Mary Eleanor) Bailey of Wimberley, Texas, Mrs. Terry (Jane) Weight of Batavia, Ill., and Mrs. Tim (Barbara) Dove of W. Richland, Wash. She is also survived by three granddaughters, four grandsons and six great-grandchildren. The family asks any donations be made in her honor to Alzheimer's Association. This devastating disease must be stopped. There was a private service in the family cemetery in Clinton on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004. Please remember the victims of this disease and their caregivers. Your support is needed and appreciated.5

Mary Belle was greatly loved by all and will be sadly missed.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to: Alzheimer's Association. This devastating disease must be stopped.

There will be a private service at the Family Cemetery in Clinton, LA on Saturday, January 31, 2004.

Arrangements will be under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home, Wimberly, Texas.
