DNA* From DNA and genealogical evidence we conclude that Jesse H. Culpepper is a descendant of Henry Culpepper, Jr., who is the son Henry Culpepper of Lower Norfolk, VA. 
Birth*16 Mar 1818 Jesse was born at Camden Co., North Carolina, on 16 Mar 1818. 
 He was the son of Arthur Culpepper and Lovey Humphries. 
1830 Census1 Jun 1830 Jesse was probably a free white male, age 5 and under 10, in Arthur Culpepper's household, on the 1830 Census at Currituck Co., North Carolina. The census had no ticks to account for Jane Humphries Culpepper.3
