| Biography* | | During about 1965-75, Warren Culpepper and his brothers recall Emily as a very sweet elderly widow known as "Cousin Em". She often joined their family for Thanksgiving or Christmas, so apparently she had no closer living relatives at that time and perhaps she had no children. According to her death certificate, at the time of her death at age 94 in 1986, Emily was living at 350 Boulevard, SE, Atlanta, GA. This was probably a nursing home. She died from recurrent pneumonia, due to multiple small strokes, due to generalized arteriosclerosis. |
