Mrs. W. E. Meredith Called By Death
Mrs. Willie Earline Meredith, 53 of Perote, died in a hospital early Saturday morning. She is survived by her husband, A. T. Meredith, Perote: five daughters, Mrs. Otha Culpepper: Mrs. Quitman Dees: Mrs. Jimmie Vinson, Linwood, Route 1: Mrs. Cora Culpepper [should read, Mrs. Henry Colin Culpepper], Banks, Route 2: Mrs. Robert McWhorter, Union Springs: three sons, William E. Meredith, Archie Meredith, Columbus, Ga.: James Earl Meredith, Troy, Route 6: three sisters, Mrs. Robert Adderhold, Columbus, Ga.: Mrs. Odell Wade, Phenix City: Mrs. Dewey West, Wetumpka. Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 pm from Sandfield Church. Burial was in the church cemetery, McGehee in charge.
