Death*1806 He died at Warren Co., Georgia, in 1806. 
Biography* The following estate records were recorded by Judy Jolly. They are either for this Wormsley, in which case he died in 1816 and not 1806, or they are for his son, Wormsley Rose, Jr.:
     From Genealogical Abstracts From The Georgia Journal (Milledgeville) Newspaper - Volume I (1809-1818) on page 634, "Whereas Kinchen Curl applies for letters of administration on the estate of Wormly Rose, deceased... Given under my hand at office this 24th November 1816. (signed) A. Carter, Clerk" (issue dated 11/27/1816) (Jones County)
     page 651, "After the expiration of nine months, application will be made to the . . . Inferior Court of Jones County for leave to sell a tract of land containing 102 1/2 acres, lying in Jones; also 490 acres in Wayne County, for the benefit of the heirs and creditors of Wormley Rose, deceased. (Signed) Susanna Rose, Adm'x., K. Curl, Adm'r." (issue dated 1/14/1817)
     page 786, "At the plantation of Wormly Rose, deceased, in Jones County, will be sold, on the 26th day of December next . . . all his personal property; consisting of horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, produce, tools . . . (Signed) Susannah Rose, Adm'x., Kinchen Curl, Adm'r." (issue dated 12/3/1817)
     From Genealogical Abstracts From The Georgia Journal (Milledgeville) Newspaper - Volume II (1819-1823) on page 120, "And whereas Kinchen Curl, one of the administrators of Wormley Rose, deceased, applies to me for letters of dismission from said estate . . . Given under my hand the 5th July, 1819. (Signed) James Smith, C.C.O." (issue dated 7/13/1819) (Jones County)
     page 250, "On the 1st Tuesday in March next, will be sold, in the town of Clinton, Jones County . . . 405 acres land . . . being two lots of land, one No. 115 in the 8th district, the other adjoining the same, on Walnut Creek; taken as the property of Haynes Crabtree, to satisfy an execution in favor of Susannah Rose . . . " (issue dated 2/1/1820)
     page 295, "On Thursday last, a woman came to the subscribers residence, who appeared insane - from what I can understand it seems she resides in Warren County, waters of Briar Creek, her name she sometimes says is Delone . . . that she set off to walk to Mrs. Rose's, widow of Wormley Rose, in Jones County . . . (Signed) Benjamin Gachet. Old boundary line Baldwin County." (issue of 4/25/1820)
     page 798, "Will be sold at the courthouse in Monroe County on the 1st Tuesday in March next . . . One bay horse . . . one pine chest, 6 sitting chairs . . . 2 dishes, 3 pots . . . one kettle . . . 2 pair of plough gear, all levied on as the property of Wilmouth T. Whatley, James McInvale, and Stephen Eilands . . . to satisfy a fi fa in favor of Susanna Rose, guardian for Lucy C. Rose for the use of Solomon Slatter . . . (Signed) John Cureton, Sheriff."
