Thanks to Ralph Bailey for a list of the names of the officers and men in the 55th Regiment of the Georgia Militia (Captain Smith's) who marched from Houston County on 27 May 1836 to rendezvous at Columbus, Thursday, 2 Jun 1836. Included on a list of Invalids was "John B. Culpepper."
