Carter, Smallwood, Sidwell, near road, Sidwell, Wingfield, E. Moore, near branch, said Moore crossing road on Gilbert Due Boys Barrenger, Carter, 200 acres. (signed) William West, Alice West. (Deed Witness) Deed26 Nov 1800 He witnessed a deed grant to Thomas Grant on 26 Nov 1800 at Wilkes Co., Georgia, (John Huggins (Hudgins) of Wilkes Co., by my notes 9 Dec. 1797, 26 Mar. 1796, 5 July & 24 July 1796, 2 Do 10 Feb., & 26 Nov. 1800. 1 am bound to Thomas Grant, of same co., for $251.12. Payment of $125.56 is due on or before 25 Dec. next with lawful interest. To better secure the debt, 100 acres on Lick Creek, adj. Moses Walker, being land where said Hudgins now lives. Also, 1 sorrel horse, 4 cows, 3 calves, 5 beds & furniture, 2 chests, table, 7 chairs, 1 pair fire shovel & tongs fire dogs, 2 sad irons, 2 axes, 1 rifle gun, 1 coffee mill, 2 jugs, 2 dishes basins & bowls, 6 plates, 3 pots, 1 D. oven, 2 pails, 2 higgins, pr. steelyards, 3 hoes, 1 mallar, B share plow, 1 hand saw & drawing knife.
