Obituary*11 Nov 2001 Sally Lue Baker, age 91, of Austin, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2001. She was a resident of Austin for most of her life. Sally was born March 27, 1910, in Bastrop County, Texas, to Will H. and Ida Culpepper. Sally retired from Southwestern Bell 27 years ago. Sally is survived by her son, Marvin Baker and wife, Shirley of Austin, Texas; her brothers, Howard O'Neal Culpepper of Verde, Nevada, and Paul Culpepper of Lockhart, Texas; grandsons, Scott L. Baker of Lockhart, Texas, Paul O. Baker of Travis County, Texas, Jeffrey A. Baker and wife, Tammy of Temple, Texas; great-granddaughters, Nicole Baker and Jennifer Baker, both of Temple, Texas; niece, Betty Lawrence of Austin, Texas; and numerous nephews and nieces in Texas. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 11, 2001, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2001, in the Davis Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the Christopher House staff for their love and kindness. Contributions may be made to the Christopher House.4
