Miss Elizabeth died today, August 31, 2007 about 5:55 PM. She was a Cross of Military Service Award recipient, an Adopted Veteran of the Jeanie Benson Chapter #884 Children of the Confederacy, member of the Order of Eastern Star and just a delight to be around. We in Berry Benson Chapter, North Augusta, SC, are distressed at losing such a wonderful person. Miss Elizabeth had no family only very close friends (who were her family). She had been sick for some time but always rebounded.2 |
