Biography* In the 1870 census, a 5 year old Blaney Culpepper was living with 60 year old Malvina Culpepper, the mother of the Blaney Culpepper who was born circa 1847. It is therefore assumed that young Blaney is Malvina's grandson, and may be the son of the elder Blaney. However, the elder Blaney appears in the 1870 census with no wife and a one year old son. More work is needed to sort these records out.
